OUR MISSION
The Taiwan Women Dentists Association (TWDA) strives to provide a learning, working, and stimulating environment for female oral health specialists based out of Taiwan.
Our goal is to be the leading resource for advancing, connecting and enriching the lives of women dentists in Taiwan. We serve our members by providing different programs and forums that benefit their needs, and represent women dentists of Taiwan on the international stage.
台灣女牙醫師學會之主管機關為內政部,目的事業主管機關為衞生福利部,本會之業務應受目的事業主管機關之指導監督。
本會之任務如下：
一、促進囗腔醫療技術與知識以保障全民口腔健康。
二、促進口腔醫療救濟及答覆衞生主管機關之諮詢指導事項。
三、辦理各項學術研討會、講習會、聯誼會事項。
四、促進與世界各國口腔衞生聯盟的合作及友誼。
五、增進國內女牙醫師合作交流。
六、培養女牙醫師成為領導人才。
七、維護女牙醫師工作場所的安全及職場之公平待遇。
WHY TWDA?
The Taiwan Women Dentists Association (TWDA) is a non-profit organization established to promote professional academics and achieve commitment to the health of every person; to encourage cooperation and information exchange among local female dentists; and to oral health and health promotion in all countries of the world. From 1830, the first female dentist in the United States to 2019, after 190 years on May 25, 2019 in Taipei, we finally established the Taiwan Women Dentists Association. First of all, we would like to express our deep gratitude to all the female dentists in different fields of specialization and work in Taiwan. All of us have been dedicated to research or clinical, day and night, and step towards our ideals. The main reason for the establishment of the Taiwan Women Dentists Association today is that we want to build a platform that is different from other societies in the family and business operations. It is exclusively for women dentists who can make connections, create values and share views together, and contribute development with other platforms, whether academic, personal family, or even into international communication.
We are people-oriented, and we take the female dentists as the starting point for caring for society and humanity. Based on professional knowledge and technology, more female dentists will devote to our mission in the future. We will work together to develop and thrive, be more concerned with society, and be in line with international standards.
台灣女牙醫師學會(TWDA)為依法設立,非以營利為目的之社會團體,以推動專業學術並致力於全民健康; 促進國內女牙醫師合作交流; 增進世界各國口腔醫療與健康促進為宗旨。
從1830年美國第一位女牙醫師誕生到今天2019年 5月25日 經過了190年,在中華民國台北,我們終於成立了第一個台灣女牙醫師學會。 首先,在此深深感謝並向全台灣在各個專業領域,各個工作層面的女牙醫師們致敬,一直以來我們奉獻所學日以繼夜,不論是在研究工作亦或臨床都朝向自己擘劃的理想邁進;今天成立女牙醫師學會的主因是希望我們能在家庭,事業經營之餘,提供另一個不同於其他學會的平台:專屬於女牙醫師們的無限發揮空間,可以多元化聯結各其他平台;無論學術,個人家庭,甚至於走進國際交流...。
我們以人為本,更以女性牙醫師關懷社會、人文為初衷為出發點,以專業知識、技術為基礎。團結更多力量,日後有更多女性牙醫師注入,從女性的角度出發 共同致力於專業外 更能共同成長!一同關心社會,並與國際接軌。
